i've been wanting a place where i could just... talk.

not everything fits into an instagram caption or a tiktok. sometimes i have random thoughts, little life updates, or things i just need to get off my chest. this felt like the perfect place for that.

i'm 31 years old, but i like to say i'm 31 going on 13.

not because i don't want to grow up.

but because i still get excited about the things that make me happy.

you'll usually find me with my nose in a book. i love wandering through bookstores "just to look," but let's be honest... i'm really there to see what i'm downloading to one of my kindles next. yes, i own three of them. yes, they're my babies lol!

if i'm not reading, i'm probably building a lego set, playing my nintendo switch or my ps5, or finding some other little thing that brings me joy.

i've realized that getting older doesn't mean you have to stop loving the things that make you feel like yourself.

i used to think that by 31 i'd have life completely figured out.

yeah... that definitely didn't happen.

i'm still learning.

still growing.

still making mistakes.

still celebrating the little wins.

and honestly, i think that's what life is supposed to look like.

this blog isn't here because i have all the answers.

it's here because i'm living through the questions.

some days i'll write about books.

some days it'll be work.

some days it'll be relationships, family, or whatever has been sitting on my mind all day.

and some days... it'll just be me talking.

no pressure.

no pretending.

just me.

so if you're okay with reading the thoughts of a girl who's still figuring life out while getting way too excited over books, kindles, lego sets, and video games...
